Vicki Farrington

Vicki has a Level 5 Diploma - Sports Massage & Remedial Therapy. She is a Strong First Gira Level 2 and Barbell coach.

Through her work she has already grown a loyal following who have benefited from her holistic approach to body maintenance.

Advocate for an all round approach to health and fitness Vicki is a keen cyclist - road and MTB in The Lakes. She also enjoys strength training in all its various forms from powerlifting to kettlebells to the occasional crossfit class.

Vicki spent 16 years serving in specialist units with the Met police. the physical demands of this eventually led her down the road to body maintenance and rehabilitation, and the creation of Sports Recovery Kendal which she founded in 2019. Vicki is passionate about helping people improve their overall health fitness in 3 key areas; movement patterns for strength, fitness maintenance and pre and post event injury rehabilitation.

Rich Tweed

Rich has a level 3 Sports Massage Therapist. In addition to this, he is certified in RockTape Kinesiology Taping and RockPods decompression cups. 

He is passionate about sports and helping the body recover by using massage and manual therapy techniques to help you reach your peak performance.

Rich has spent nearly twenty years playing football in various positions and formats. When he wasn’t playing football, he hiked in Wales, the Peak District, and the Lake District.

Recently, he has taken to running, enjoying the longer format of ultra-marathons at 50k and 100k distances along the Cotswold Way, Jurassic Coast, Lake District, and Australia's Gold Coast. 

You will also find him exploring the countryside with his partner Kate and their Patterdale Terrier Alfred.

Claire Wilson

Claire has a level 5 diploma in Sports and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy from the North London School of Sports Massage.

Coming from a competitive swimming and coaching background, she developed her interest in sports massage and rehab after experiencing the positive effect it has on her own training and that of her coached athletes. 

A lover of all things endurance and outdoors, Claire has completed in fell and mountain running, long distance swimming, swimrun and triathlon, and is passionate about helping people to keep enjoying their adventures injury free. 

In 2022, Claire worked at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, providing sports massage to elite athletes in the gymnastics competition.

Verity Evans

Verity is currently on Maternity Leave but we look forward to welcoming her back in Summer 2024.

Verity has a level 3 diploma in sports massage and Swedish massage. She has also specialised in Pregnancy Massage.

Developing specific knowledge and techniques to help to alleviate some of the effects of tight muscles and sore joints as well as helping the body prepare for delivery. Lengthening the muscles and creating more space for your ever expanding uterus.

With a keen interest in injury prevention and body maintenance Verity works with outdoor professionals to keep their bodies working through demanding work seasons.

Off season maintenance and conditioning are also key to enabling continued year round work for anyone in the outdoor industry and beyond.

Verity can be found in the fells on foot or in the gym training to be strong for life with her family.
